Women as change makers

November 10, 2019

( Rev Njomasoh)

  • Women can identify needs in their world, in their community and seek ways to solve the problems.
  • They can put resources together, empower themselves and affect the change that is needed in their homes and their community.
  • If women`s voices are heard, they can make a difference at the level of policy making to impact a positive change in thier community. When given leadership positions this will enable women to have the authority to make decisions that will affect them and the community.
  • AWES can identify needs, desire a change and put resources together to effect the change.
  • To succeed, AWES plans to set up smart goals that will enable them to achieve success as change makers. They want to set up goals, that are specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and time bound. They plan to be proactive with a bigger picture in mind, considering that change makers have to be positive in order to face the obstacle that lies ahead of them.
  • We must have a communication plan and a message. We must have strategic plan, network, identify stake holders and sell our visions for them to buy. We must be positive, write our success stories, document good practices and keep it for posterity.
  • AWES is like a lever that is capable of lifting up a big crane.
